Yes You Cranberry

Yes You Cranberry

There are a few things Jessika Tantisook and Jared Oates, co-owners of Long Beach, Washington, cranberry farm Starvation Alley (@starvationalley), tell their customers. First, cranberries don’t grow in water. (They grow in fields, or bogs, which are recessed in the ground and flooded for pest control and ease of harvest.) Second, true cranberry juice isn’t sweet. Instead, the 100 percent organic, cold-pressed juice the couple makes is “fruity and tart,” explains Tantisook.
