The Concept of the Nomadic Hotel

In September, 700,000 Heures will become the world’s first nomadic hotel. The idea is that a hotel is not an actual structure, but a state of mind, a series of experiences, a respite from your life. Every six months, 700,000 Heures (the approximate length of an average human life in the developed world) will change locations, occupying different buildings in different places — sometimes an existing building will be reimagined or refit for the hotel’s needs; other times, it might even be built from scratch. First up will be a house in Angkor, Cambodia.
