Chinese photographer Wenting Zhu creates remarkable images and movies of chemical reactions. This one shows metallic zinc reacting with silver nitrate to produce metallic silver and aqueous zinc nitrate. The work is part of a series of photographs and movies in a project called Envisioning Chemistry.
