The Lost Coast of Ireland
There’s a lost city called Kilstiffen beneath the Cliffs of Moher — or so the story goes — which sprawl grandly over the Atlantic Ocean on the western coast of Ireland. The city was submerged and, according to legend, will remain so until the golden key to the gates are found. Or maybe you subscribe to a different theory: That an evil witch who lived there fell in love with Cu Chulainn, one of the great heroes of Irish mythology. Furious that he did not return her affection, she pummeled the shoreline, giving the cliffs their distinctive outline.
