Celebrating Summer with Burk Uzzle's River Bank Dive

I saw these kids on a back-roads drive, found the composition dynamics, hung out for an hour waiting for the exact, perfect moment when the most interesting diver was in the air, just when the boy on the right was in exactly the right place in the composition.

Photographer Burk Uzzle on his photograph "River Bank Dive, Georgia, 2001" as told to Jamie Sims of The New York Times. Uzzle gained notoriety for his images documenting Woodstock. This summer, three separate museums will be exhibiting his work in his home state of North Carolina.
